Another Approach...
An Approach...
If you see your need in one of these
situations or in the vast area in between, please give me a call.
Regardless of the production you’ll have my consideration, my
aesthetic and my experience working for you.
The client called. On my scratch pad is a jumble of
notes. I’m on the phone to my support team who are the
best at their respective trades: Hair and makeup, props,
assistant. Next I’m calling locations for permission to
scout. Dollar signs are gathered, tallied and recorded
--an estimate goes out. Dates for the shoot are run out to
all parties involved and modeling agencies are contacted. Headshots start coming in and are sent to the agency. I
start a weather watch for the projected date and will constantly
be checking each day prior. Things are coming together. Little glitches come up and each one is addressed to find a
suitable solution. One by one decisions are made and at every
step I’m e-mailing or phoning the agency and client. The agency
sends a layout and I put together a lighting plan followed by a
packing list. I assemble a production package for client
and crew listing the entire production team along with contact
information and detailing location maps, dates, and an hourly
timeline for the production. One more weather watch and I
call to confirm with everyone involved, addressing any last
minute concerns.
We’re good to go.
I approach a larger production with the consideration I would
relish if I were any one of my crew or the client.
No Surprises.
The college called. Can I be there in one hour to
photograph the president with the women’s volleyball team?
I grab my camera and go.
